Washington Middle School offers classes from grades six through eight. The school s curriculum includes mathematics, English, reading, science, civics, geography, physical, technical and health education, family and consumer science, French and Spanish. Its sports activities include football, cross country, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, track and field. The school s counseling department provides individual counseling sessions and periodic classes dealing with peer pressure, and drugs and also assists students in their career development. Its media center provides various resources for students, such as variety of print and electronic sources to assist in the learning process. The school has various clubs and organizations, such as band and choir clubs, yearbook and student council, and is located in Oconto Falls, Wis.
