History

A decade ago Kathleen Dixon started Islandtime Books on Washington Island bringing authors and growing a reputation as a wonderful literary resource. In 2015 Kathleen sold her shop to Deb Wayman who added Fair Trade gifts to the mix and renamed the shop Fair Isle Books. Author events continue, along with fair trade food sampling and wonderful conversations. The new mission is
