About Our Business A local, family-owned business, Eastmore Real Estate has provided quality apartment living to the Milwaukee area for more than 60 years. While our company has grown, the high level of personal attention we provide has never wavered. To ensure that you enjoy all the benefits of apartment living, we employ a team of experienced maintenance engineers who are on call 24/7. Our semi-annual surveys prove that Eastmore's staff not only meets but exceeds residents' expectations. We give back to our community. Eastmore is a strong advocate of efforts to improve our neighborhoods, and we support a wide range of local non-profit organizations and civic events, including the Shorewood Criterium Bicycle Race and the Eastside Farmers Market. Eastmore is forward-thinking. We believe in adaptive reuse in housing-that is, restoring existing properties rather than contributing to environmental destruction through new development. We continually strive to reduce our carbon footprint by using extra insulation, certified weatherization, efficient lighting, and other energy-reducing practices in our buildings. Whenever possible, we use native plants in our landscaping and employ only minimal use of pesticides. Fifty percent of Eastmore Real Estate is owned by a woman, and we are strongly committed to equal opportunity.
