History
We've been working on our place since 2005: repairing fences, remodeling the 100-year-old farmhouse, building porches, raising sheep, pigs, steers, goats, chickens and ducks. When our four children moved out to their own greener pastures, we re-furbished their bedrooms with vintage furniture, linens and artwork. Then we put the word out that we'd like to share the farm with visitors interested in a relaxed rural experience. We've been welcoming friends here from near and far ever since. Demand was so high we started buying and renovating camper trailers from the 1950s and 60s. During COVID, we closed and then re-opened in 2021 renting just campers with private campfires. We serve a continental breakfast outside on our large porch. Campers share a luxurious indoor full bathroom and an outside shower and sink, but other than that can stay very socially distant. We aim for our guests to be comfortable while they are here, and leave renewed and recharged.
