Woodside Elementary School enrolls more than 350 students in grades prekindergarten through six. The student-teacher ratio of the school is 12-to-1. The school s curriculum includes classes in reading and writing, language arts, Spanish, English, math, science and social studies. Each student receives computer-assisted instruction, consisting of basic computer skills and academic instruction in the areas of reading, math and writing. The school has a parent-teacher association that participates in curriculum and student development activities. The school also has a daily lunch menu at the cafeteria. It has a counseling department that offers various programs for students. Established in 1983, Woodside Elementary School is a part of the Woodside School District and is located in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.
