Verona is a city in Dane County, Wisconsin, in the United States and is a suburb of Madison. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 7,052. With an estimated 2009 population of 11,486, Verona is among the fastest growing municipalities in the state. The city is located ten miles southwest of downtown Madison within the Town of Verona. It is part of the Madison Metropolitan Statistical Area.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.3 square miles (8.5 km²), all land. Notable geographical features include the Verona Sugar River Valley, the Badger Mill Creek, and the Sugar River Water Trail. A portion of the Ice Age National Scenic trail also runs through Verona.
