Alleghenies United Cerebral Palsy
Established in 1956, Alleghenies United Cerebral Palsy is a community service organization specializing in providing direct care services for individuals with cerebral palsy and other developmental disorders. Located in Johnstown, Pa., the organization currently serves approximately 750 children, youth, adults and seniors. In addition, it offers direct care programs for a variety of other disabilities, such as spinal cord injury, autism, multiple sclerosis, quadriplegia, traumatic brain injury (TBI), diabetes and stroke, among others. The community service organization provides an array of in-home, nonmedical, daily living assistance, including personal care, range of motion, transportation and other assistance to individuals with any physical disability. Alleghenies Unite Cerebral Palsy is an affiliate of the national United Cerebral Palsy organization, one of America s leading organizations.
