Michele Maouad, M.D. is a board certified dermatology and dermatological surgeon. She earned her Bachelor's Degree at the State University of New York of Buffalo in 1992 and a Master's Degree in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University followed by one year of research in the Department of Cardiovascular Services. She acquired her Doctorate of Medicine at West Virginia University in 1999 and was admitted to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center ( UPMC ) for residency in Dermatology. In 2003, she became Chief Resident of Dermatology at West Virginia University Hospitals. Upon the completion of two years under a board certified dermatologist, Dr. Maouad decided to establish her own practice. The Dermatology Center for Skin Health opened in August 2005 where Dr. Maouad is the sole physician. In addition to her degrees and skills, her priorities rank among the best. She believes in giving her patients top care by examining their current and pre-existing conditions and assuring accurate diagnosis. It is imperative to Dr. Maouad and her staff that patients feel they've received the best possible care when leaving her office.
