Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium is a stadium located in Morgantown, West Virginia on the campus of West Virginia University. Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium currently houses the NCAA team the West Virginia Mountaineers. The stadium opened on September 6, 1980 with the construction taking just over a year and a half at a cost of just over $22 million, $61.3 million in present day dollars. The latest renovation was in 2007, which updated many amenities.
The West Virginia Mountaineers are members of the Big 12 Conference of the within National Collegiate Athletic Association. They are known by their team colors consisting of blue and gold. Their mascot is the Mountaineer. Past players include Geno Smith, Adam Jones and Pat McAfee.
The stadium currently holds 60,000 fans. There are 12 luxury suites and over 600 seats at the club level. Currently, it is the 50th largest stadium in the NCAA. The record fan attendance of 70,222 occurred on November 20, 1993 against Miami. In terms of parking there is on-campus parking and satellite parking lots both containing general and reserved spots.
Season tickets are available to donors with a minimum gift of $100. Individual tickets start at about $55 depending on the game. Tickets are available through the team website and ticket exchanges.
