Appalachian Community Health Center is a licensed behavioral health center, and it identifies, responds and serves the behavioral health needs, and promotes physical, social, emotional and intellectual well-being of the community. It is supported by the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources. The organization s service area includes Barbour, Randolph, Tucker and Upshur counties in West Virginia. Appalachian Community Health Center s services include counseling for children, teenagers and families and teen-age pregnancy services. The center also provides adult day programming, and personal counseling and hospitalization to adults. It offers various services to people with developmental disabilities, such as life skills and prevocational skill training.
