History
Born as the Center for Workforce Training, the Center later transitioned to the WorkSource name. WorkSource was eventually adopted statewide as the brand name for Washington's career center network. A site must earn the privilege to use the name by demonstrating consistent quality of service and results for its customers. WorkSource is a highly collaborative partnership of organizations and programs with the shared mission of helping workers find meaningful employment and businesses find a workforce aligned with their talent needs.
