HistoryDr. Jaime B Friedman and Dr. Carol B Sheckter met in medical school, did their residences and fellowships together at the University of Washington, married, and started Hawthorne Hills Internal Medicine in 1989. Located in Hawthorne Hills - close to Children's Hospital - their private practice has become one of the most bustling in the city. Drs. Friedman and Sheckter are deeply rooted in Seattle's North End community but draw a substantial number of East Side patients as well. Hawthorne Hills Internal Medicine has been built almost entirely by word of mouth. Drs.
