History
Vashon Island is a divine blend of peaceful quiet and that Pacific Northwest sense of adventure. The Lodges on Vashon is the brainchild of Jena Thornton and Scott Shapiro of Eagle Rock Ventures LLC. Designed by the architects at S+H Works, LLC, The Lodges were built by Champion Home Builders, with site work done by Cascade Built LLC. Island landscape architect Doug Tuma and landscape designers Jil & Howard Stenn are behind our beautiful scenery.
Specialties
Located in the heart of Washington's lush Vashon Island, The Lodges are where modern style meets Mother Nature. Relax in the Pacific Northwest green. Wander around town. Discover a Saturday farmers market or rejuvenate over coffee - everything moves a little slower on the island. Come stay with us at The Lodges! All 16 freestanding Lodges offer contemporary design and state of the art, keyless entry technology and high-speed wifi. Enjoy locally crafted furniture (many by on-island artisans), gas fireplaces, thoughtfully designed bathrooms, and a flat panel television in the master bedroom. Stick to your own space and let the relaxing begin or meet at one of our grills with a guitar and get friendly. The Lodges on Vashon offers two communal spaces on the property. The Public House offers coffee and tea, an ice-maker, plenty of refrigeration and a dining room. The Pavilion, a great open-air space, is ideal for enjoying the breeze during the day and relaxing with a drink near the gas fireplace in the evening. You'll find delicious, Vashon-sourced amenities throughout the property featuring everything from soaps to coffee.
