Sequim Middle School has more than 630 students and over 60 staff members. It serves students in grades six through eight. The school offers academic programs in English, mathematics, science, world history, reading and physical education. Sequim Middle School organizes history fairs, Math Olympiads, fall harvest festivals and dance concerts. It has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, such as basketball, wrestling, cross country, football, volleyball, and track and field. The school operates a Catch up Club, which is an after-school study program for students who need extra time to complete their homework assignments. Sequim Middle School s library provides various resources, such as fiction and nonfiction books, magazines, encyclopedias, newspapers, audio books and other reference materials. It is located in Sequim, Wash., and is a part of the Sequim School District.
