Scrumptious Street was founded in New York, NY in 2009 by President and Instructor Stephanie Beack when she left the corporate software world behind and launched the business teaching in-depth hands-on cooking classes and drawing from the culinary inspiration the years in New York provided. She rapidly expanded her business teaching hands-on and highly personalized cooking classes, workshops and courses through a reputation with 5-star reviews on Yelp.com (see the listing for the business in New York). The business delivers in-depth and thorough culinary education with a sense of fun and creativity. In November 2011, Stephanie moved the business to the Seattle area and is steadily building her new clientele.
Specialties
We specialize in fully customized and personalized hands-on experiences that are focused on real education and culinary technique. We offer Fundamentals Workshops, Dinner Parties of Global Cuisines, Specialty Classes and Techniques Series. All classes are 3-4 hours and a full meal will be prepared and eaten by the students. Workshops are generally shorter classes on specific topics that may include eating a bit, but not a full meal.
