Since incorporating in 1999, the city of Sammamish has contracted with the King County Sheriff's Office to provide police services for its residents. Residents can find the police office on the first floor of Sammamish City Hall. Today, Sammamish Police have 22 full-time officers, including a chief, sergeants, patrol officers, detectives and school-resource officers. Sammamish Police also can receive support from the Sheriff's Office for major crimes and incidents. The non-emergency dispatch number is 206-296-3311.
