Pacific Harbors Council in Tahuya, WA, was the proud owner of Camp Hahobas Scout Reservation, a 120-acre Boy Scout property situated above Hood Canal. After discontinuing the summer camp program in 2015 and selling the majority of the land to the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Great Peninsula Conservancy in 2019, the council made the decision to open the camp for weekend camping as a 'Wilderness Camp' for a brief period in 2021. However, the camp property was permanently closed in early 2022 by order of the Scout Executive of the Pacific Harbors Council, BSA, and the Pacific Harbors Council Executive Committee.
