Lead by the enthusiastic, energetic "Pastor Dave" Slatter, the congregation of the First Baptist Church of Puyallup continues its long and storied history with service to, and engagement with, the local community. Just as it was more than a century ago, First Baptist Church ministries sponsors numerous charitable efforts and outreach programs designed to provide assistance to local community members during times of need. First Baptist offers Sunday school classes for all ages beginning at 9am and, during services, the church provides child care for children between the ages of 16 weeks and 2 years. The 10am Sunday service is followed by Friendship & Refreshments which goes from the end of service until noon.
