Pierce County Parks and Rec Services is located off Lakewood Drive SW, outside of Lakewood's city center. The Pierce County Parks Department owns approximately 3,880 acres of parks at 56 sites including: two recreation centers, athletic complexes, skateboard park, three boat launch sites, two golf courses, trails, a rock climbing facility, an equestrian area, and natural/undeveloped areas.
