History
Pie For the People started in 2001 as a tiny food truck in the Iron Horse parking lot. There Ryon Weber got his start delivering his New York Style pizza to he residents of Snoqualmie Pass; soon with their support he was able to move to a bigger truck in front of Lee's Summit Grocery. In 2002 Ryon had the opportunity to take Pie For the People on the West Coast Music Festival Tour and asked close friends and customers Craig and Kirra Austin along for the ride. The next few years Ryon and his growing crew traveled to music festivals all over the country and opened a shop in Ballard, Wa. which closed in 2010 when Ryon moved to Joshua Tree, CA and opened Pie For the People SW. He asked Craig to help run it, which he did for three years. Missing home, Craig decided to move back and open his own restaurant back where it all started. Today you can find Pie For the People in Joshua Tree and Snoqualmie Pass, as well as on the road during the summer on the summer music festival tour.
