Northwest Yeshiva High School, the only Jewish high school in the state, maintains a highly-regarded college preparatory and Judaic studies curriculum.
Perched on a hillside in the Mid-Island area above Island Crest Way, the school is a tight-knit community of students and teachers committed to producing well-rounded young adults. Students are also required to perform community service during each school year to foster a strong sense of volunteerism. The school also offers a number of interscholastic sports and electives and maintains strong ties to Israel. More than half of the student body spends a year abroad in Israel before continuing on to college.
Head of School Rabbi Bernie Fox administers both the general and religious curriculums.
