About NWCB The Northwest Wall and Ceiling Bureau ( NWCB ) is an international, nonproprietary trade association for the wall and ceiling industry. It is a proactive organization that encompasses all the wall and ceiling industry products and systems available for interior and exterior construction. The membership of the NWCB consists of subcontractors, manufacturers, suppliers, labor organizations and other professionals in the wall and ceiling industry in the Northwestern United States and Western Canada. The NWCB provides its members a wide array of services to help them run their businesses more effectively and to keep abreast of the developments that will affect them. The NWCB works closely with architects, code bodies, specifiers and construction professionals on the proper design and application of the products in the industry. It is a trusted source for industry standards and recommendations. The NWCB's trained technical staff frequently conducts pre-construction meetings, review of construction documents and educational programs. The NWCB has 8 local chapters in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba. The local organizations coordinate a variety of activities ranging from informative membership meetings to effective educational programs and fun social events. Once a year, the NWCB brings wall and ceiling industry professionals together for a convention and trade show, which is one of the most highly anticipated wall and ceiling industry events. The convention is an opportunity for people to meet each other face to face in a relaxed setting, learn from informative speakers and see the latest products, systems and tools available.
