Northwest Public Power Association is an international association that represents and serves consumer-owned, locally controlled utilities in the Western United States and Canada. Based in Vancouver, Wash., the organization provides its members with training and education, surveys, communications, federal legislative coordination, along with data and networking opportunities. It is an association of over 150 public/people's utility districts, electric cooperatives, municipalities and crown corporations in the Western states and Canada. Northwest Public Power Association's members include Wrangell Light Department, Nome Joint Utility System, Arizona Public Service Company and Palo Alto Utilities Dept.
