Founded in 1965, Northwest Center, located in Seattle, offers programs and services for children with developmental disorders. The center has been promoting the rights and independence of people with developmental problems for more than 40 years. It provides a wide range of services that include early childhood education, adult vocational and life skills instruction and a continuum of support that helps people with special needs. It offers a variety of programs, including early childhood education, early intervention and full-day child care programs. It is a licensed provider of child care services for infants and children and a state contracted provider of early intervention services. Northwest Center s facilities feature various amenities that include open classrooms, fenced outdoor playground and covered outdoor play areas and wheelchair accessibility.
