Established in 1999, North Whidbey Middle School provides academic instructions to more than 700 students in grades six through eight. It offers educational classes in reading, math, social studies, science, music, art, computer applications, language arts, life skills and physical education. The school has a library media center that provides print and nonprint resources to enrich students classroom studies and to assist them in writing reports and class assignments. It offers a variety of sports activities, such as cross country, basketball, volleyball, softball, baseball, wrestling, and track and field. North Whidbey Middle School is a part of the Oak Harbor School District and is located in Oak Harbor, Wash.
