My residential design drafting business began when I drew up plans for an additional and remodel on my own home. The project was built using my plans and the contractor was so impressed by them he had me make plans for other projects. My experience with architectural drawing began years before while working for an architect. Since my business began I have gone from hand drafting on a drafting table to computer generated drafting, CAD. I use 3D residential and light commercial drafting software and have produced plans for numerous projects including, complete home design, home additions and remodels, garages, pole barns, and patios, decks, and porches.
