History
I opened my private practice in 2011 after graduating from the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in the 1,000 hour training program. Since then I have attended over 350 hours of continuing education, worked at the Seattle Tennis Club, and in the Downtown Monroe Therapeutic Massage clinic. In 2016 I expanded the practice to include the healing benefits of yoga after graduating from the Hatha Yoga Center 200 hour program as a Registered Yoga Teacher. I have a background in movement studying Stage Combat for 14 years as a member of the Society of American Fight Directors. In these studies I experienced the development of body patterns and repetitive action injuries. Additionally, I worked for 10 years in medical research at the University of Washington and PATH. The work ranged from Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Breast and Ovarian Cancer, Diagnostics, and Nutrition. My time in these fields facilitated greater understanding in the complexity and healing powers within the human body.
