Kent Meridian High School
The Kent-Meridian High School offers classes from grades nine through 12. It offers courses in subjects, including English, science, social studies, art, music, physical education, technology and computers. It also offers an International Baccalaureate diploma program. Additionally, the school operates learning communities that provide an integrated curriculum in English, math, foreign language and special education. The school also has teams in sports, such as wrestling, basketball, golf, soccer, tennis, hockey, swimming, baseball, track and cross country. The school s library operates a culminating project that includes four-year plan, research papers, technology proficiency, oral presentations and yearly reflections. Located in Kent, Wash., the high school has a guidance department that offers information about tests, colleges, entrance examinations and assignments. The school is a part of the Kent School district that operates more than 40 schools.
