KZZU, also known as 92.9 ZZU, is a Modern-leaning Top 40 outlet in Spokane, Wash. The station broadcasts at 92.9 megahertz on the FM dial and is owned by Spokane Television Group. KZZU was previously known as KREM-FM, an adult album rock station. It offers adult-leaning, hip-hop and recurrent/retro-free pop direction, targeting audience between the age group of 18 to 49. The station provides special coverage for fire safety, local military and government, elections, environment and crime prevention. It also broadcasts programs related to health, sports and weather and provides information on traffic and travel, school closures, music, movies, gardening and recipes. KZZU has an all-female airstaff and has an operating slogan called "Today's Modern Hit Music."
