Wapato High School is a learning center that serves students in grades 9 through 12. The school is a part of the Wapato School District. Located in Wapato, Wash., it offers a variety of general academic, advanced placement and college preparatory programs. The school provides courses in agriculture mechanics, economics, journalism, Spanish and chemistry. It also offers instruction in music, physical education, and fine, visual and performing arts. Wapato High School provides memberships in the National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America organizations. The school operates a band, choir, dance team, and chess and yearbook clubs. It supports a range of sports activities that includes football, volleyball, soccer, cross country, swimming, wrestling, baseball, and track and field. In addition, Wapato High School operates a parent-teacher organization and offers meals and guidance counseling.
