History
I began teaching yoga in 1984 under the name of Lifedance Yoga. At that time there was only one other instructor in the Spokane area. I started teaching in homes and church halls and eventually found a location on the lower South Hill where I opened up a formal studio. By 1999 classes had grown to the point of needing a larger location. I visualized my next studio, and within a week it materialized! I was able to design the interior exactly as I wanted and specifically for the purpose of Yoga. Harmony Yoga at its present location was launched. Over the past 19 years I have employed a variety of instructors, classes have been added, students have come, gone, returned and stayed! In 2012 I directed our first RYT-200 Teacher Training, and have directed and taught 7 trainings to date.
