Founded more than 45 years ago, Goldrich Mining Company is a publicly traded junior mining company that is exploring and developing gold deposits on its Chandalar property in Alaska. The Chandalar mining district is about 190 air miles north of Fairbanks, Alaska. Access to the company s camp and mill on Tobin Creek is either by aircraft from Fairbanks or overland during the winter season via a 55-mile-long trail from Coldfoot to Chandalar Lake. The Chandalar district is widely recognized as the eastern-most mineralized area within a Devonian age schist belt that extends along the south flank of the Brooks Range. This belt includes such famous deposits as Cominco s Red Dog zinc mine, the largest zinc deposit in the world, and the prolific Ambler volcanogenic massive sulfide district, now controlled by Nova Gold. Goldrich Mining Company has its executive offices in Spokane, Wash.
