History
In 2014, King County conducted a survey of how many people tubed, boated, and floated the Snoqualmie River. Careful analysis showed over 24,000 people recreated on the river that summer. Overwhelmed, the Community had a core group of volunteers that signed the river and cleaned up trash on weekends. Seeing an opportunity to not only help the community volunteers, Fall City Floating was founded to create infrastructure to manage the large volume of King County recreators using the river. The business's initial goals were to improve trash management, providing funding for toilets, and increase safety on the river with better equipment. Since 2015, Fall City Floating has provided a safer way to get on the river, more parking, better facilities, and education to floaters of all ages.
