The Sumner Community Food Bank serves 250 families and almost 900 individuals every month. Its service extends throughout the 98391 and 98390 area codes, from Sumner to Lake Tapps and Buckley. Once a month, visitors can collect food, toiletries, pet food and child care items. No one is turned away. The Food Bank is a great place to learn more about local resources and connecting people to the services they need throughout the community. This food bank works closely with food banks in Puyallup, Algona/Pacific and Buckley, as well as Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Sumner. Volunteers and donations are needed and welcome.
