History
My work with stinging insect removal began with my beekeeping. I focus on helping bees to survive and flourish. Honey bees swarm in May, June, and July, and I give them homes where they can live, grow, and provide a bit of surplus honey for the beekeeper and homeowner. July, August, and September is the season for wasps and hornets. If you can live with them into the fall, they will go away on their own. Sometimes they choose to build a nest in the wrong place, and I can help remove them without leaving a deadly residue of poison behind.
Specialties
Free phone and email consultations to identify your stinging insect species and identify options. I have been able to find constructive ways to balance the needs of both people and bees since 2009. Yellow jackets or wasps that build nests where they conflict with people are removed without poisons or pesticides. Many times I convince concerned homeowners to allow wasps to finish their annual cycle naturally without spending any money at all. Honey bee and bumble bee colonies are moved alive and intact so they can survive into future years. I serve Southeast King County, including Renton, Kennydale, Newcastle, Issaquah, Eastgate, Bryn Mawr, Skyway, Tukwila, and portions of Kent, SeaTac, Covington, Maple Valley, Bellevue, & the Sammamish Plateau.
