History
I started as an apprentice in Taiwan before coming to the United States. I graduated from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and opened my practice in 1997. My clinic was first in Ballard, and is now in the University District, in the historic Neptune Building. I am certified as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine), and have been licensed in Washington State since 1996.
Specialties
I'm an acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist, also using tuina, acupressure, ear acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion and other heat treatments. I focus on maintaining wellness, and on relieving pain, physical and emotional stress, and chronic conditions (including allergies, digestive issues, insomnia. and lack of energy). I treat only one patient at a time, so that each patient receives my full attention.
