History
Daybreak Youth Services was founded in Spokane in 1978 by Bill Yakely. The organization expanded to Southwest Washington in 1999. Currently, Daybreak offers outpatient services in Vancouver and inpatient and outpatient treatment in Brush Prairie and Spokane. Daybreak began offering short-term crisis stabilization services for mental health needs at both of its inpatient locations in late 2017.

Daybreak Youth Services has been successfully helping teens with addiction and mental health needs since 1978. Our recovery programs serve more than 1,000 at-risk youth from around the Northwest each year, guiding them toward health and passion for their future. We serve a diverse, nurturing and inclusive community and are dedicated to providing treatment to all who need it.
