Dartmoor School offers one-on-one, individualized instruction to youths in first through 12th grades. The school specializes in meeting students' individual needs. Some students enroll part-time in Dartmoor to supplement their current courses, while other students attend Dartmoor full-time, following specialized programs designed for their specific learning needs or to accommodate the heavy time demands of an activity or sport.
Coursework can vary greatly. Some students need to catch up on grade-level skills, while others seek a college preparatory experience. Teachers are also trained to address learning issues of children with special needs, such as learning or behavioral issues. The school can accommodate students for whom English is a second language (ESL). And Dartmoor offers higher level courses, such as Calculus.
Because the classes are one-and-one and individualized, schedules are flexible. The school enrolls year-round. Students enrolled in other schools may enroll in Dartmoor's summer session, which offers both credit and noncredit summer classes.
The school's Bellevue offices are located in the Century One business park. Dartmoor also has offices in Issaquah, Redmond, Seattle and Woodinville
