HistoryAlthough Grace and Jon have danced for years, and enjoyed free-form ecstatic dance for a decade, this is a new venture. We offer this Saturday morning dance for newcomers, any age, any ability.SpecialtiesFree Form Dancing--dance with no steps, instruction, rules, choreography. This is like a dance party in your living room, only with lots of studio space! All ages, skill, and abilities are welcome. No experience or training is necessary. This is for EVERYONE who wants to dance. Join us for inspiring, fun, playful dance. What a great way to start Saturday! Move the way your body wants! A fabulous new playlist every week with a wide range of music. We play classic funk, Zydeco, 90s hip-hop, Bollywood, Swing, Broadway, music from all over Africa, Turkey, Polynesia, Russia, so many places. Surprises abound, and something included from past eras including 80s, 70s, 60s, 50s. Super fun and creative. Please Note: Once a year, we move locations as the floors get refinished in the gorgeous studio we rent every week (owned by City of Seattle). Occasionally a wedding is also happening in our incredibly beautiful space, and we find another location (Om Culture, Dance Underground, for examples).
