History
Hi, I'm Tim Johnson, a life-long resident of B'ham. I was fascinated by motorcycles since I was a wee lad, particularly because my brothers put me on a minibike with no brakes...before I had learned to control a bicycle! Surviving that event and the rush I felt, the lure was set! My brother Kris had a RD350 and my brother Mike had an Elsinore 125. Those bikes are the inspiration of my business! I learned the art of motorcycle repair from my mentor and friend Dwayne Lunde. Dwayne taught the Motorcycle Mechanics Technical course at BVTI. After completing the course and some great on job training, I received my certification in 1988. My career started at Northwest Cycle in 1988, but I was let go when the business closed in 1989. While framing houses and fixing bikes on the side, I gathered enough tools and knowledge to open my shop. I started off in 1994 in a large storage unit, then moved to a business park then I moved to 1414 Kentucky St. back in 1999. 20th year 2014
