Central Washington Mental Health is a private nonprofit medical care organization that offers services to children, adults and families. Founded in 1970s, it serves the residents of Yakima, Kittitas, and Klickitat counties in Washington. The organization employs a staff of more than 400 professionals who offer services to over 290,000 patients. Central Washington Mental Health provides treatment to individuals with mental health and chemical dependency problems. It also offers services to patients who suffer from domestic violence and sexual assault cases. In addition, the organization provides individual, couple, family and group therapy services, as well as features behavioral assessment and case management programs for children. Central Washington Mental Health additionally features suicide awareness training modules for community groups, service clubs and schools. The organization maintains one of its facilities in Ellensburg, Wash.
