History
Located within Chateau Ste. Michelle, the Col Solare Bottega is a joint partnership between the Antinori family (read their impressive cover story in Wine Spectator's April 2015 edition) and Ste. Michelle Wine Estates. The inaugural vintage of Col Solare was harvested in 1995. The Red Mountain Estate Winery was built and planted in 2006 and sees hundreds of visitors annually. The Bottega was built to meet the demand of Puget Sound's Col Solare fans unable to easily access these limited-production, highly-rated wines.
