History
Rev. Walter Horn gave the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia the land for Camp Huston in 1931, with the intention that young men could come here to learn how to be good leaders in their church. In 1935, girls attended camp for the first time and in 1956, the first coed camping program began. The camp maintains accreditation by the American Camp Association and now serves around 350 campers every summer, as well as countless non-profit, religious, and educational conference guests every year.
