In 1974, four Ramos brothers founded Azteca Mexican Restaurants as a 24-seat restaurant in Washington. It currently operates restaurants in various cities throughout Washington, Oregon and Florida. The family restaurant s menu includes a variety of vegetarian and nonvegetarian Mexican dishes, such as appetizers, salads, soups, burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, tacos and entrees. It serves a range of seafood, chicken and meat dishes that includes shrimp, scallops, beef and bacon. It also offers pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, quesadillas, chicken tenders and macaroni for children. The restaurant operates a store that provides various types of products, such as jackets, decorative items, baseball caps and gift cards. In addition, it offers several items for take-out. With one of the restaurants located in Burien, Wash., Azteca Mexican Restaurants employs more than 1,400 individuals.
