What is an Anglican Church Members of Christ the King Church are first and foremost Christians, that is, followers of Jesus Christ. Through His life and by His death, Jesus is able to forgive our sins, heal our brokenness, and provide our lives with purpose. We are also members of the worldwide Anglican Communion, a fellowship of more than 77 million Christians. We are united not only by our historical ties, but also by our form of worship, which is based on a common prayer book, and our system of church government, which is ordered around an overseer, called a bishop. Our theology is summed up in the Apostle's & Nicene Creeds which we recite often in our services. Children are a vital part of our ministry and church family. We hope you'll choose to have your child in worship with you. Did you know that children who regularly attend worship with their parents are more likely to grow up to be faithful in their Christian life than those who do not? Members of Christ the King welcome kids of every age, even those who make their own joyful noise from time to time. You are welcome to come and involve yourself as much or as little as you feel comfortable. You will not sense any pressure to join or get involved, though many opportunities will exist when, and if, you become ready.
