Founded in 1967, Aglow International is a nonprofit, trans-denominational organization of Christian women with more than 4,000 local groups in 164 nations worldwide. Aglow is one of the largest international women's organizations with more than 1,100 local groups in the United States alone and reaches out to over 2 million women every month through the groups. The organization works towards promoting gender reconciliation, promoting awareness of global concerns from a Biblical perspective and restore and mobilize women throughout the world. Aglow International is involved in many projects around the world providing immediate and ongoing care to needy people. The organization has prayer groups, support groups, prison ministry and youth ministry and is headquartered in Edmonds, Wash.
