Backlick Park has an unlit basketball court, lit tennis courts, biking, hiking, equestrian, and nature trails. It also has a picnic area, a playground area, and a tot lot. Walk-on usage of sites is free and on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like to reserve an area where it is possible to, or for more information on the park, go to the Fairfax county website. Click on 'Find a Park', then, based on what you want to do, click on the subject, i.e. picnic area/tennis court/ softball field, etc. You will find a calendar and information on reservations. Call and follow automated instructions-- you will be called back to confirm the reservation.
