HistoryThe business was started outside of Washington, DC at an historic plantation. Peggy Snead, the owner, was a lobbyist working on federal and state legislation. In her job, she entertained powerful leaders. She loved to throw parties, but found so much more joy in entertaining friends and family than business associates. Ms. Snead moved to rural Virginia in 2000. Now she combines both worlds - she crafts special events and memories of a lifetime for clients who become close and dear friends. From barbecues to black tie formal receptions, it all can happen in the Virginia countryside at Apple Blossom Plantation.SpecialtiesThe Apple Blossom Inn is Virginia's Premier Weekend Wedding Venue. It is elegant, enchanting and unforgettable - and also fun and relaxing! The estate sits on over thirty acres between Richmond and Williamsburg, Virginia. The inn is a full service bed and breakfast, but specializes in hosting weddings and other special events. You and your guests are allowed to use all five of the beautifully decorated bedrooms for your family and friends. A large white pavilion, dining tables and chairs are all included in the special event package.
