United States Karate Center is owned and operated by Master John K. Thomas, a former Navy SEAL combat instructor. The center offers instruction and training in a variety of martial arts including Hapkido, Aikido, Aiki-Jutsu, Judo and Karate. Classes are available for children and adults and there are more than 20 black belts of at least the first-degree at United States Karate Center. Training is comprised of six general areas including forms, weapons, breaking, holds, grappling and sparring. Belt tests are held every month and students are awarded their new belt pending approval from Master Thomas.
