History
Established by Charles and Joshua Trelease in 2000, Tiger Equipment focuses on supplying the Rental industry with light construction equipment including compactors (forward plate and upright rammer), towable mixers (concrete and mortar), concrete saws, conveyers, portable hydraulic power packs and tools, and mini-skid steers. Highlights include the acquisition of the Miller brand Sturdi-Saw line of concrete sawing equipment in 2004, and partnerships with Hycon Hydraulic Tools (Holland) in 2005, and Fairport Machine (England) in 2006. Charles Trelease, is known in the compaction industry for his pioneering role in the development of the first functional 4-stroke powered upright rammer. Working with the likes of Stow Manufacturing (US), Tacom (Japan) and Honda, he developed a 4-stroke rammer that was distributed in the US branded as Dynapac, and Tacom throughout the rest of the world. This development redefined the standard for upright tampers, and evolved the world industry.
